Soul Winning Mega Marathon 31st March 2018

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

On the 31st of March 2018 there will be a global effort to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ across all nations. Be part of the soul winning marathon in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast of QLD. This will be a family friendly event meeting at a hall with all facilities available (toilets, kitchen, air conditioning).

For those who are unable to do the soul winning, there will be a short video series on the basics of sharing the gospel. These videos will be aimed at beginners to help prepare them for future opportunities.

Soul Winning in Ipswich – Join the Team!

Today was the start of our Ipswich team preaching the gospel every Saturday from 2.45 p.m. God kept back the surrounding rain, but we were showered with blessings as we saw three individuals call upon Jesus for salvation through faith.

If you would like to be part of a soul winning team and Ipswich is closer to you than the Sunshine Coast, please contact Steven on 0410 127 749.

Soul Winning Marathon 2017

John 4:37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

As part of the church launch, we held the second soul winning marathon on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday the 30th September 2017.

The event was co-hosted by The Church in Caloundra and The Church in Punchbowl which had 19 of their members make the interstate trek from Sydney. We also had others attend from outside the Sunshine Coast region.

We prioritised preaching the gospel in the suburb of Aroona but also had some teams continue working on last years maps in Little Mountain. An effort was made to pair up most teams with one from QLD and the other from NSW to create new friendships.

Following the morning and afternoon soul winning, we gathered together for a time of worship with three salvation testimonies given from Anthony Griffen, Nathan Martincich, and Victor Tey.

  • The gospel preached at Aroona and Little Mountain

A huge thank you to all who were able to attend, you made it a successful day!

The Church Launch – Be There!

We are less than two weeks away from launching of The Church in Caloundra. To celebrate the event, you are invited to join us on the weekend of Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October for the following planned events.

II Soul Winning Marathon – Sunshine Coast

The second soul-winning marathon on the Sunshine Coast will be held the day before the first official church meeting. If you came to the first soul winning marathon, the meeting location is directly across the street (Arthur St) from where we met last year.

The whole family is invited. As we did last year, children and one of their parents are welcome to remain at the meeting hall for fellowship while those who are soul-winning will be out knocking doors and preaching the gospel. The meeting location has a large sporting grass field so the children are free to run around and kick balls.

The Church Tracts have Arrived

Hot off the press! Our first 3000 church tracts/leaflets have arrived. If you were involved in last years soul winning marathon you’ll already be familiar with the layout and content. There have been some slight changes, specifically the words on the front and the new church logo.

This tract is only a helpful tool and not a substitute for gospel preaching. Pray that we would have labourers to be sent forth into God’s harvest who will open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
