Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The salvation of the soul and certainty of heaven is only available by the grace of God paid by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The confusion isn’t on what God did for us, but HOW we receive the gift of God. It is received through FAITH, and not by works!
